Lib Dems come third

Last night a group of Liberal Democrats went to the Wolverhampton North East Conservatives quiz evening, sadly we didn't win. We came third - yes that could lead to many jokes - with 86 from 100 (not too bad actually), at least we won one of the raffle prizes.

Franken finally wins!

The Minnesota Supreme Court has finally ruled in the Senate race for Al Franken and Norm Coleman has conceded bringing November's election to a close.

Michael Jackson - what happened?

Unless you have been on Mars since Thursday you cannot have escaped the fact Michael Jackson died. Don't worry this isn't going to be a tribute post - I have been a fan, have his albums but went off him when all the allegations came out. It is a post about the follow-up especially on the Internet.

The Iranian crisis

Iran and the UK have both expelled a couple of diplomats, this follows the Supreme Leader - Ayatollah Khamenei criticising the UK on Friday and calling us the "most evil".
