East Staffordshire and Alton Towers beckon10.01.24pm BST (GMT +0100) Fri 30th Jul 2004 This weekend I shall be off to East Staffordshire to support the West Midlands Liberal Democrat Youth and Students during their Action Day there. Whilst no longer a member of the Youth and Students - being 28 - I am still very supportive of their activities. I am a past Chair of the West Midlands LDYS and also a former sabbatical Communications Officer for the national Liberal Democrat Youth and Students and it is an organisation close to my heart. After their Action Day on Saturday I believe the plan is to go to Alton Towers on Sunday which should be great fun.
