Money and membership matters

1.00.00pm GMT Wed 22nd Sep 2004

This morning, I was asked to be the West Midlands representative to the English Party's regional treasurers meeting. I was slightly dreading the meeting assuming that it was just going to be lots of figures and the such like. I found the meeting really useful and now have a better grasp of the financing of the English Party and the regions and there was a good briefing on membership too (the West Midlands is the second fastest growing region in the country) and then we had a briefing from the Electoral Commission's principal compliance officer.
