Liberal Democrats beating Labour - latest poll12.00.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Sun 26th Sep 2004 Returning from Liberal Democrat Conference in Bournemouth and having seen a bit of Labour Conference in Brighton yesterday I was pleased to see todays News of the World. The News of the World has published a Populas Poll has shown that the Liberal Democrats have moved into second place. The Liberal Democrats have gained an additional 7% in the last week to overtake Labour and are just 3% behind the Conservatives. The Poll puts the Liberal Democrats on 29%, the Conservatives on 32% and Labour in third on 28%.
