Blair has his tummy tickled by Bush again!

10.30.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Mon 18th Oct 2004

It appears that the Labour Government has rolled over and had it's tummy tickled by George Bush once again. Tony Blair not being content to take the UK into an illegal war in Iraq, now wants to compound the problems by moving British troops from the relatively safe area of Basra to support the American's.

Worse still this was originally being presented as a choice for the UK to make and it has now transpired that Geoff Hoon and Tony Blair have already agreed. Nice to see Blair and Hoon being their usual truthful self with the British public and MPs.

It was nice to see my local Labour MP Rob Marris oppose this new troop deployment, it is just a shame he didn't oppose the war unlike some of his more honorable colleagues.
