High Tea at the Savoy and more friends

7.00.00pm GMT Thu 4th Nov 2004

Yesterday after watching the US election coverage, I visited my friends Paul and Mel and their son Santiago in Bedford - Santiago is a beautiful little boy who seems to be growing up very fast.

After seeing them I went to London and met my friend Miranda who was treating me to high tea at the Savoy as a birthday present. It was a lovely present and quite bizarrely we bumped into some other people we knew whilst we where there - all very odd.

After high tea we then met up with some other friends, including Alex, Chris and Kate who went to Barcelona, Candy, Sue, Tudor and Vicki. All in all a very good day after the bad Bush beginning.

This morning I also managed to meet up with a friend of mine - Trevor Dee who lives in Hobart but was in London for a week, we met up and caught up on old times (I first met Trevor back in 1998) and had a wander around Covent Garden, all very relaxing.
