Yasser Arafat dies

This morning Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat died. He had been in a coma for over a week and suffered a brain haemorrhage on Tuesday. Yassar Arafat's death could well lead to turbulence in the Middle East, likewise it could also enable the USA and Israel to return to the negoiation table and resolve their problems with a Palestine homeland.
