Kennedy and Campbell win top political awards

Last week Charles Kennedy, Liberal Democrat Leader, won the politician of the year award in the annual Spectator Parliamentarian of the Year awards. Also last week Sir Menzies Campbell, Liberal Democrat Deputy Leader won the best Scottish politician in the House of Commons award at the Herald/Diageo Political awards, earlier this year he was recognised as opposition political of the year by both Channel 4 and the Hansard Society/House Magazine.
