Red Caps - Their deaths could have been prevented Mr. Blair

3.00.00pm GMT Thu 18th Nov 2004

An Army Board of Inquiry has found that the deaths of six Red Caps last June could not have been prevented. I am truly amazed I am not expert on the armed forces, I can point to two ways the deaths could have been avoided. Firstly British troops should never have been in Iraq, secondly if we have to have troops in Iraq lets make sure they have the right equipment and enough of it.

The Red Caps did not have sufficient weaponry and there have been countless reports of troops either not having the right equipment or enough of it.

The whole Iraq debacle can be laid firmly at the feet of Tony Blair. It is time for Blair to go, for leading us into an illegal war and then not supporting our troops once committed. I note that there are moves to impeach Blair and I have signed up to the petition, you can also do so below.
