Washwood Heath and Hodge Hill Liberal Democrats

Tonight I attended the founding AGM for both Washwood Heath and Hodge Hill Liberal Democrats at Norton Hall in Saltley. The two ward branches have been set up due to the increased membership and activity in the areas since the Parliamentary by-election in July.

The meeting was very attended and was covered by the Kashmiri Times. I attended as a member of the West Midland Liberal Democrat Regional Executive and wished them every success and promised to help them in the run-up to the General Election in which Nicola Davies is standing and the 2006 Local Elections where I expect both Washwood Heath and Hodge Hill to elect Liberal Democrat Councillors.
