Last night I went to see Mark Thomas, the comedian, at the Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham. He was truly excellent, very very funny, but also very serious.

The first half was the funniest half with Mark retelling his experiences of direct action in the past and also being arrested for chaining himself to a bus. The jokes were very funny, but many are not repeatable here!

The Second half was much more serious Mark was telling us of the the attitude and behaviour of Coca-Cola from the theft of water in India to the intimidation and assignation of Trade Unionists in Columbia, you could see he was clearly moved retelling stories of people he had met that were later killed.

If Mark is appearing anywhere near you I would strongly urge you to see his show - you won't regret it!
