Parliamentary approval

Today I attended the Liberal Democrat's Development Day. The Development Day is a day long assessment that any Liberal Democrat that wants to stand for election to Parliament (Westminster of European) has to complete. I am pleased to say I passed and am now an approved candidate, I was passed as Grade 1 with no additional training required.

Before the Development Day I had to prepare an action plan for the fictitious constituency of Bloggshire South and also a ten minute presentation on the Euro, as well as filling in a form detailing my experience and broad policy knowledge. On the day itself I had two policy tests - one written and one verbal (an interview), a constituency surgery test, a media test, I had to give the presentation and also take part in some group work with the other applicants.
