Spain says YES to the European Constitution

The Spanish have voted YES in the first referendum on the European Constitution. The Yes vote should be welcomed, although the turnout was fairly low 77% of the those that voted backed the Constitution.

I find myself in a vast minority as someone who has actually read the Constituion and would certainly urge people to back it when we get a chance in our referedum at an unspecified date. The Constitution is basically a tidying up exercise with very little that changes, adn the bits that do change change for the better.
