Liberal Democrat Spring Conference in Harrogate10.30.00pm GMT Sat 5th Mar 2005 Today was the first full day of the Liberal Democrats Spring Conference. It is always great to be at Conference, seeing old friends being a particular highlight. Todays highlight on the Agenda was Charles Kennedy's speech which certainly left me feeling in the right mood for the election. I also spent a large amount of today (and will tomorrow) discussing a number of West Midlands seats with Ben Jephcott (West Midlands Campaigns Officer) and Hilary Stephenson (Deputy Director of Campaigns). I think we have almost everything in place for a very successful campaign.
