Election Planning meeting with the Director of Campaigns

6.00.00pm GMT Tue 8th Mar 2005

This afternoon I met with Paul Rainger, the Liberal Democrat Director of Campaigns to discuss my role in the General Election. As well as being a Candidate in Wolverhampton South West I have been asked to help out in a number of seats locally to try and ensure we get the best possible.

I have previously worked for the Liberal Democrats as an Campaigns Officer and been an Agent in the 2001 General Election, without naming the seats I have taken on special responsibility for a number of seats in the West Midlands who do not have a paid organiser for this election. In the meeting with Paul we went through what additional help each seat needs and how best to deliver that help. Looks like my election will be very busy!
