Croatia's EU talks suspended

The European Union yesterday suspended Croatia's EU accession talks. The talks have been suspended due to Croatia's lack of co-operation over tracking down and handing over General Gotovina to the War Crime Tribunal in the Hague.

Whilst I support the suspension of the talks, particularly in regard to sending a message to Serbia, I think the European Union has to be very cautious of it approach on this matter, they have for example not set another date for the resumption of talks or at least holding the door open for the resumption of talks.
