Speaking in Solihull

6.00.00pm GMT Sun 20th Mar 2005

Last night after Regional Conference I went over to Solihull where I had been asked to speak to the local Liberal Democrats cheese and wine event. Over thirty people turned up and I spoke for about 15 minutes and then had questions on a wide range of subjects.

I spoke on campaigning, both in the UK and also some of the ideas I learnt from African Liberals last week in Tanzania, the forthcoming election and our policies going into the election. The Questions were mainly on policy and one on my experiences in Tanzania and what animals I saw whilst I was there!
