Michael Howard sacks Howard Flight

Michael Howard has reacted to Howard Flight's (Conservative MP for Arundel and South Downs) cuts admission by sacking him and preventing him from standing in the General Election.

Mr. Flight has admitted Conservatives would cut even more services than they have publicly said and has been rewarded with the sack for telling the truth. I suspect, knowing how Conservative Associations like to be independent, this row will rumble on over the weekend and possibly into next week.
