Well after a busy day and busy night we have a result in Wolverhampton South West. I gained 5,568 votes, which was 13.38% of the total valid votes. I am delighted with this result, in 2001 the Liberal Democrats had 3,425 votes or 8.37%, We have moved on a long way since then and I hope to help move Wolverhampton South West Liberal Democrats forward over the coming years.
We took votes from both Labour and the Conservatives and by adding an extra 5% to our share of the vote making us the big winners of the night.
