South Staffordshire General Election re-run11.00.00am GMT Wed 11th May 2005 Yesterday I met with Paul Rainger, the Liberal Democrat Director of Campaigns, to discuss the South Staffordshire General Election re-run. The Election will be re-run due to the sad death of Jo Harrison who was the Liberal Democrat candidate. The election will now be on Thursday 23 June. I will be involved, though not to the extent that I was involved in last year's Birmingham Hodge Hill by-election. If anyone wants to help in the election they can get in touch with me and I will ensure they will be put in touch with the Agent. The South Staffordshire Liberal Democrat website is at www.southstaffslibdems.org.uk which I am sure will be kept updated with all the latest news and information.
