West Midlands Capacity Building Committee Meeting

10.07.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Wed 8th Jun 2005

This evening the West Midlands Capacity Building Committee met in Birmingham. The Committee deals with membership, training, equalities, LDYS and websites amongst other things.

We discussed the latest membership figures, we have seen healthy growth across the region so far this year with Walsall growing by over 30%! We also discussed the proposals for this Summer and Autumn's training, LDYS and equality issues.

The major area of discussion was the classification of Moving Forward Seats which now the General Election is over with I am keen to see established as soon as possible.
