Father's Day celebration

10.00.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Sun 19th Jun 2005

Today is Father's Day - I have made it a bit of Father's weekend. Yesterday Alex and I took my father to see Star Wars 3 (or 6 depending on how you look at it) and today we had a big family meal with my brother, his wife, their daughter, my mum, dad and myself.

I have taken my day to see all the 'new' Star Wars, as he had taken me to see the 'first' three. We all enjoyed it but agreed the 'first' three were the best - it was a bit strange as we know what would happen in this one!

I will also be getting my father a book, when it is published, I am sure he and no-one else will be able to guess what it is - how many other high-profile books are about to be published?
