Make Poverty History

Well I did not win tickets to Live 8 and have decided against going to the Edinburgh Rally (taking the CO2 emissions of travelling into account) but will go and help in the Cheadle by-election instead. However on the eve of the G8 summit, I would urge the leaders of the world's richest nations to Make Poverty History and too tackle climate change and eliminate poverty in Africa.

Tomorrow and this weekend could see the G8 countries take the hard choices and do the right things on both debt/poverty and climate change. The only question is will they grasp this opportunity or lose it for another twenty years - when it may be too late.
