Dittons Prior by-election

The Conservatives held on to the Dittons Prior ward in Bridgnorth Council in yesterday's by-election. The Liberal Democrat challenge was hampered by the Cheadle by-election which also took place yesterday and many activists who may have helped were diverted to Cheadle.

The full result was as follows:

Conservative 295 votes, 62.5%

Peter Martin - Liberal Democrat - 177 votes, 37.5%
