Eating and drinking

I seem to have spent most of this weekend eating and drinking - not that I am complaining you understand. Two birthday celebrations were the main cause!

On Saturday after a trip to Jewelry Quarter I met my friend Dave for Lunch at Wagamama's in Birmingham. Wagamama's is a chain of Japanese noodle bars - kind of Japanese fast food. I have been to their branches in London and also Dublin and noticed a new branch under the Bull Ring the other day so thought I would try it, Dave had never been before. It lived up to my expectations, and I am sure I will go there again.

Saturday evening I went to a dinner party in Coventry to celebrate Chloe's birthday, it had a slight difference we all had to prepare a course. I worked remarkable well considering what could have happened. It was a very good night with dinner lasting about four hours!

Sunday lunch was to mark Alistair's birthday, a group of six of us met in the Garden House in Birmingham where we spent a relaxing couple of hours chatting and eating.

Now I suppose I better start a diet after this weekend!
