Liberal Democrat Conference in Blackpool begins

Today saw the first day of the Autumn Conference of the Liberal Democrats. The first event that I went to was the candidates debrief from the General Election, I also met up with some friends and went to the LDYS Race Night (an annual fundraiser for the Liberal Democrats Youth and Students).

The debrief was good in parts but there were far to many candidates who did not win, and generally came third in an area that is not too good for the Liberal Democrats and were blaming everyone but their own campaign or being realistic about their chances in the first place.
