Walter Wolfgang - The true face of New Labour

12.04.07pm BST (GMT +0100) Fri 30th Sep 2005

My highlight of the Labour Party Conference has been the treatment of Walter Wolfgang and how New Labour treats anyone that disagrees with them. Walter Wolfgang crime was to say 'nonsense' during Foreign Secretary Jack Straws speech, his punishment was to be bundled out of the hall, have his card removed and not allowed back in as a result of New Labour's new laws on terrorism!

If Labour cannot take internal criticism what will become of those of us that public criticise them? We were told when the new terrorism legislation was being passed that we needn't worry as it would only be used in real cases of terrorism - tell that to Walter!
