UKIP in another crisis! The real story of Petrina Holdsworth's resignation!

Today the Chairman of the UK Independence Party Petrina Holdsworth resigned. This was actually the second time in a week she resigned and it comes just days before the annual conference this Saturday in Westminster.

UKIP are claiming Petrina Holdsworth gave up the post on Tuesday to spend more time with her family and there had be no acrimony. I know this not to be the case. My sources in UKIP tell me that she resigned last week due to the behaviour of UKIP Deputy Leader and West Midlands MEP Mike Nattrass.

Petrina then rescinded her resignation after receiving assurances from UKIP Leader Roger Knapman MEP that Nattress would be sacked as Deputy Leader after the weekend's Conference. Nattress then received assurances from Knapman that he would not be sacked, Petrina found out and resigned again.
