Campaigns Training in Stoke-on-Trent8.00.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Sat 22nd Oct 2005 Today Andy Martin and I ran a training session on campaigning and targeting ahead of next years local elections in Stoke-on-Trent. The session was attended by members in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Moorlands local parties. We looked at the targeting strategy for next may, though obviously I will not be naming the target wards on the Internet. We had a very good discussion of how many and whcih wards to target based on some quite stringent criteria. We also looked at planning the campaign schedule between now and May with reference to what activities where going to take place when. Finally we also looked at how to build the team that will deliver the victories next Mat.
