The thirtieth birthday weekend

My birthday weekend went really well, I had lots of friends over on Saturday and had a wonderful surprise present on Sunday evening. The celebrations started a bit early, by accident, on Friday evening and continued through to late last night.

Friday night I met my friends David and Sandra for a drink after work, needless to say it became an evening long session meeting various others on the way!

On Saturday I met up with Kate and Raj for lunch before getting ready for the evening events! In the evening I had hired the upstairs room of my local pub - the Newhampton Inn and had a load of friends come out for the evening before carrying on back at mine.

Sunday saw Alex make brunch for everyone that stayed and some other friends, and their children, who came round. That evening after everyone had left I met up with Sean, Annemarie and John for what I thought would be dinner, and it was, but they also took me to see Jo Brand. Jo Brand, and her support act, were excellent, it was a lovely way to round off a fantastic weekend.
