Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats AGM

10.09.00pm GMT Mon 14th Nov 2005

This evening was the AGM of Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats. The meeting should have been fairly swift but ended up being quite lengthly with discussions about the eligibility of one of the candidates for Chair and a big discussion about future funding. We await a ruling on the Chair candidates but the other positions were filled there and then including me becoming the new Membership Secretary.

As Membership Secretary I will aim for a 20% increase in members over the calendar year 2006, increased number of members of Direct Debit and a better retention rate. I will also ensure we have a regular members newsletter and work with the Social Secretary to increase the number of social events.
