The Bilash Tandoori in Wolverhampton

9.36.00am GMT Sat 19th Nov 2005

Last night I went to the Bilash Tandoori in Wolverhampton with my friend Dave Radcliffe. I had never been to the Bilash before but had recently seen it had been included in a best food guide so thought I would try it out. The Bilash specialises in Bangladeshi cuisine and you can see into the kitchen, which I always like, not to see but to know I can see what they are doing with the food!

The food was excellent, though it was the most expensive curry I have ever had. Our bill came to £64 (without service) for popodums, starters, mains and some drinks (only one alcoholic). I will certainly go back but it may have to be for special occasions, though if anyone wants to treat me I wouldn't say no.
