Today was my niece's Christening, it was a great event and Emily was a star throughout. It was the second Ross family gathering this year - this one having a good reason and full of joy and happiness.

I was not expecting any but I got a fair few jobs to do whilst there. I did a reading from the Gospel of Saint Mark (as the person who was to do it got a touch of stagefright), babysat for the godparents and ending up setting up the bar the reception. The most amusing bit was the priest telling me how to speak in public and then mumble his way through the service!

I went down to Watford on Saturday and stayed overnight, this was far better than trying to do a daytrip as I got to spend a bit of time with Emily before everyone else arrived. Emily looked great and behaved throughout the whole service - hopefully I will have some photos to post here soon, until then there is an old one of me and Emily.
