I'm in! Are you? Oxfam is running a campaign to get a million people to pledge their support to end poverty - the "I'm in" campaign. You can register at www.oxfam.org.uk or text "In" to 87099.

After registering Oxfam will then contact everyone and and ask for their support in one of three ways - to donate, volunteer or campaign for change. I will do all three - please do what you can!

Oxfam, a founding member of the Make Poverty History movement, will build on the legacy of 2005. This year saw record public support for the tsunami aid effort, with seven million people wearing white bands in support of the Make Poverty History campaign, and a quarter of a million people taking to the streets of Edinburgh to march for justice around the time of the G8 summit.

Adrian Lovett, Campaigns Director at Oxfam has said of the campaign "This is the biggest target we have ever set ourselves but we know that there are millions of people in the UK who believe that world poverty can be overcome. 2005 was an incredible year and shows us what we can do when people work together for change. We want 'I'm in' to build on this legacy and take forward people's desire for justice."
