Ludlow Liberal Democrats become first to select for the next General Election

Yesterday Matthew Green was reselected to fight the next General Election in Ludlow. Matthew is the first candidate to have been selected in England for the next General Election showing the determination of Matthew and the Ludlow Liberal Democrats to win the seat back from the Conservatives at the next General Election.

Matthew Green vote the ballot of membership after three hustings in Church Stretton, Ludlow and Bridgnorth. At the meetings before Matthew set out his record as an MP in the previous parliament, and what he had been proud to achieve as a new member there. Living in Much Wenlock, he confirmed that he was fully committed to Shropshire, and listed the actions necessary to ensure that Liberal Democrats regained the Ludlow seat at the next general election.
