Off to Harrogate

Well after the excitement of the Leadership Election yesterday I am just about to set off to Harrogate for the Spring Conference of the Liberal Democrats. I am looking forward to this Conference more than normal - I suppose it is the prospect of Ming's first Leader's speech.

As well as Sir Ming's speech there are debates on the NHS deficits, CCTV, reform of 14-19 learning and the future of the Post Office. There are a number of interesting 'business' motions at this conference from how we should select our candidates and how we can best campaign to make our Parliamentary Party more reflective of Britain.

There is also plenty of training, I will be training one session on communicating with members and have also co-ordinated the training for the Agents and Organisers Association. And of course, there is the best bit of Conference - catching up with friends!

Also exciting news on the boiler front - I am, hopefully, having a new one fitted whilst I am away - so will come back to a nice toasty house!
