Not so good Friday

7.22.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Fri 14th Apr 2006

Was out delivering in Wolverhampton today in the glorious sunshine getting lots of our squeeze leaflet out and then it happened. I got bit by a dog, not just a slight bite but a big gushing blood type bite. The skin has been pierced in four places and it bloody hurt.

It being Good Friday I wanted to avoid going to A&E but after ringing my sister-in-law (who is a nurse) who told me to ring NHS Direct. NHS Direct suggested a walk-in clinic of which there are of course none of in Wolverhampton, they got the 24 hour doctors to ring and it turns out I will have to go to A&E over the weekend. It still hurts and I am typing left handed for now!
