Whilst in Pakistan we have done countless interviews for the television and print news and also a number of set piece television interviews. Today was our last with AAJ TV, I am ashamed to say I got very annoyed with the interviewer over Iraq and took him to task - however the others on the panel think I actually beat him!

He said British and America troops should leave Iraq now - which is a position I understand but think it is unworkable now the mess has been created we have a responsibility to help solve it. He didn't buy that argument so I suggested an alternative would be for us to withdraw and be replaced by a UN Peacekeeping mission, preferably led by Muslims - he didn't want that either and amazing said how could expect someone else to clear up our mess. That is when I said you can't have it both ways but he didn't even see the contradiction in his arguments!

Anyway we are off to the British High Commission tonight for dinner and will get the see the first half of the FA Cup Final in their club too, last night Pakistani TV told us Liverpool won the match on penalties so we are eager to see what happens!
