Its always nice to wake up in a different place - Tokyo is a great place to wake up and I spent today exploring it with Sean. We are staying with my friend Amanda in the Roppangi Hills area.

We firstly went to Ginza which is supposed to be the Piccadilly Circus of Tokyo I wasn't too impressed (but them am not impressed with Piccadilly Circus). After Ginza we headed out to Ueno to see the park and market, both of which were impressive.

We then headed to Asakusa to see the Senso-Ji Temple which dates from the 7th Century and has a golden image of Kannon - the goddess of mercy. The whole complex was truly impressive from the Thunder Gate , the Pagoda and the Temple and Shrine.

We finished off the day by visiting Shibuya which is a very busy part of Tokyo especially at rush-hour.
