Hereford by-election result

Yesterday the Kerne Bridge by-election (Herefordshire Council) was held after the resignation (and subsequent death) of the Independent Councillor.

The Conservatives won the seat with the Liberal Democrats coming second. The full result follows:

Conservative - 482 votes

Liberal Democrats - 308 votes

Independent - 249 votes

True Independent - 119 votes

Majority 174 votes, turnout 47.18%
