At today's EU-US summit in Vienna George Bush said he wants to close the Guantanamo Bay prison camp, if this is the case why doesn't he? It quite simple its been over four years, in that time a number of the inmates have been released particularly those from non-Muslim nations, so why not either release the rest or charge with them something and put them through the legal system?.

It was great to see the EU put pressure on Bush, its a shame that Blair and the UK Government with such a 'Speical Relationship' have only recently been vocal about it and not too vocal either - I guess Blair doesn't want to damage the 'Speical Relationship'.

At least the Liberal Democrats have been consistent having always opposed Guantanamo and Sir Ming says he wants to visit and highlight the problems there even more and add to the pressure for its closure.
