Fordhall Farm saved!

2.00.00pm GMT Fri 30th Jun 2006

A short while ago I wrote about Fordhall Farm and how it was in danger, they needed to raise £800,000 to save the farm by 1st July. Well this morning they have officially raised the money needed and have been saved! Thanks to anyone who read the site and donated, bought a share or gave a loan.

They have said, on their website, that this is just the beginning! They wrote "Securing the land is just the first rung on a massive ladder but we feel confident thanks to you. Shares will continue to be sold and any monies over the land purchase amount will go towards researching and building the bunkhouse and educational facilities that have been planned. The sooner the better so we can really allow Fordhall to reach its potential."

You can still support them by following the link below.
