Kim Howells criticises Israel's tactics but the rest of the Government stay quiet

Well at least one member of the Government seems to have noticed the latest war in the Middle East. Kim Howells, a Minister in the Foreign Office, said "Israel have got to think very hard about those children who are dying", not exactly a condemnation but its a start - he could have gone on to say something really outrageous like it was bad or they should stop.

Blair and Beckett have been almost completely silent and allowed the fighting (on both sides) to continue without passing much in the way of comment at all. Doesn't our Government make you feel really proud to be British! (By the way that was irony for those that missed it)
