Park Ward success and update

8.03.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Sun 13th Aug 2006

I spent some of this weekend campaigning in Park Ward for Robin Lawrence and the Liberal Democrats. I finished off my August delivery round, I normally deliver it straight away but have been quite busy so far and then helped deliver an area special.

I was out delivering when I bumped into a friend who when realised I was delivering for Robin and the Liberal Democrats helped me out, must speak to her about taking a regular delivery round!

Robin has also had a couple of success recently. When he was knocking on doors he noticed a street-name sign that had had the 'Y' cut out - yes I know it sounds weird but its true I have seen it and a road with really bad road surfacing. He took both issues up and they are now being seen to. Patching has now taken place and the road has been added to the provisional highway maintenance programme and the street sign has been ordered. Robin is really good at spotting problems and ensuring they problems are seen to, however it really begs the question what the Labour Councillors in Park actually do.
