A weekend in Wales

Just got back from a weekend in Wales. I went to Aberystwyth with my friend Anders Hanson and his friends Andy and Amy. My Labour opponent in the local elections, David Hartley, suggested a trip there the other day - he had just been and told me how good it was.

Anders used to live, and work, in Aberystwyth so after David suggested going there I asked him if he wanted to go and be my tour guide. Aberystwyth is a really nice town on the coast of west Wales - although it rained a fair bit and was quite windy we had a really good time.

It is not a typical seaside town and we were a little out of the tourist season and too early for term-time - the University has lots of students which I am sure changes the town somewhat. We also took a day trip out to Mwnt further down the coast by Cardigan and did some walking there.
