Nizlopi live at the Wulfrun

10.40.11am GMT Wed 13th Sep 2006

Last night Faye, Ian and I went to see Nizlopi at the Wulfrun in Wolverhampton. They were great but had to describe, most people will have heard of the JCB song but nothing else - they describe themselves as Folk/Hip-Hop but there are lots of other influences in there, including John's beatbox.

Nizlopi is made up of Luke and John who met at school. They are from Leamington Spa and considered the Wolverhampton gig their home gig for this tour, they certainly had some people from Leamington in for it too.

The gig was great and they really tried to involve the audience, doing a song amongst us and Luke (lead singer) walked about in the audience (bare foot) a couple of times and they even got someone up to stage to sing out of the audience too!

Nizlopi has a new mini-album - ExtraOrdinary - out now and you can see and hear clips at www.myspace.com/nizlopi
