Charles Kennedy speaks to Conference

6.03.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Tue 19th Sep 2006

Charles Kennedy made a very good speech to Conference today. Charles is of course the former Leader, which makes his speech a bit more interesting than you average MP's speech. The content was great as was the presentation, there was a section where it was very flat - I suspect this may have been deliberately down to not overshadow Ming's speech later in the week.

I cannot find the full text anywhere, but I will upload it if I found it. The bits I heard (I had been running a training session when he started) covered international affairs - including a plea for us not to be anti-America but to certainly be pro-European - and a big section on the environment and constitutional reforms.
