Read the Sunday Times and watch the West Midlands Politics Show on Sunday

The last week has been very busy for me politically, as you may have seen I have been posting a fair bit about Conservative funding. Last Saturday the Sunday Times contacted me asking about Sandip Verma (the Wolverhampton South West's Conservative candidate in the 2005 General Election) and her peerage and what if any connections it had with the Midlands Industrial Council. Also this week the BBC's Politics Show interviewed me about party political funding - it will be shown Sunday at 12.30.

The Sunday Times last week published a piece about the Midlands Industrial Council and I believe may have a further piece this week. The Midlands Industrial Council is certainly attracting a lot of interest from a lot of journalists and I suspect the Sunday Times and others will have more articles this weekend about it.

I was then contacted earlier this week by the BBC's Politics Show about the Midlands Industrial Council and links to Wolverhampton South West Conservatives. There may have been some links, the Midlands Industrial Council certainly made large donations to Wolverhampton Conservatives in the run up to the General Election and local Conservative leaflets are printed by CCS based at Coleshill. We did a piece on party political funding and it will go out on BBC1 at 12.30 on Sunday 8th October. I am not sure what how they will edit it so I won't say exactly what I said, I will wait until Sunday and comment after it goes out. If I work out technology I will try and put the article on here, but don't hold your breath.
