Colin Ross turns 31

I turn 31 today, so don't expect much from me today! Last time my parents were up they brought up all my baby things they have kept, including the newspaper from when I was born - below are some highlights of what happened 31 years ago (well I guess the news is actually from October 28 1975 so 31 years and a day). Also for the record, from my baby book, I was born at 4.39pm weighing it at 7lb9oz and 52cm long - how times have changed!

The headline of the Daily Mirror was "Forbidden Love" and the story was about a court order parting half-siblings who had fallen in love. Other stories included six suspected terrorists being arrested in London, concerns that the UK would be a 'Atom Bin' with the processing and storage of nuclear waste and Peter Hain was in trouble. Glad to see lots has changed in 31 years!
