I have spent most of the last 24hours in Solihull. Firstly at their Annual Dinner last night and then training some of their members today.

The Annual Dinner was excellent, with Chris Huhne as the Speaker, and almost 100 guests. It is always good going over to Solihull, through my campaigning there in the last few years I have made many friends there. The event was very well organised by Chris Reeves and her team. Chris Huhne made a good speech mixing a bit of environmental policies with a discussion about politics too.

Today Dave Radcliffe and I have been training some of the Solihull members of how to get the most from their literature. The training consisted of a look at the various types of literature that could be produced and the merits of each as well as looking at what should be in the literature. The course seemed to go well and many of the participants said how useful they found it.
